2020 FAQs

Yes, the Awards will be going ahead but they will no longer take place this December. We are looking to hold them next year, with a new provisional date of Friday 26 March 2021.

Due to the pandemic we will not be delivering a face to face event in 2020 but we are monitoring the situation closely and we currently still plan to go ahead with a face to face event in March, depending on how the virus impacts large events

We are still working on the format of the upcoming awards ceremony, but rest assured, we have a record of all monetary transactions and will reimburse you accordingly depending on the outcome of the Awards

We recognise that healthcare workers have gone above and beyond during the Covid-19 pandemic and we will be recognising those who have made ground-breaking initiatives in response to this, but there won’t be a separate category

The 2020 entries have already been judged for the General Practice Awards so unfortunately, we are currently not accepting and new submissions
