Sessional GP in South West Scotland

Dr Roger Henderson is a senior GP, until recently the long-standing senior partner at the head of a 16,000-patient general practice in Shropshire where he was also a GP trainer, running his large main surgery and two branch surgeries which included a University.

He now works as a sessional GP in South West Scotland in order to concentrate on his health PR and media work. As one of the UK’s most respected medical commentators, he writes for the Times, the Spectator and many other national newspapers and magazines. He appears regularly on television, radio and online discussing health-related issues and has been involved with many high-profile health educational campaigns.

He chairs and speaks at many health conferences both in the UK and globally, and is a writer, presenter and podcaster for GPnotebook.
