Dr Roger Henderson is a senior GP, until recently the long-standing senior partner at the head of a 16,000-patient general practice in Shropshire where he was also a GP trainer, running his large main surgery and two branch surgeries which included a University.
He now works as a sessional GP in Dumfries and Galloway in order to concentrate on his health PR and media work. As one of the UK’s most respected medical commentators, he is the health columnist for the Spectator and writes columns and features for many national newspapers and magazines. He appears regularly on television, radio and the internet discussing health-related issues and has been involved with many high-profile health educational campaigns.
He chairs and speaks at many health conferences both in the UK and globally, and is the UK Medical Director for LIVA Healthcare – winner of the ‘Most Innovative Health Tech Company of the Year’ and ‘Lifestyle & Disease Management Platform of the Year’ at the 2019 Global Health and Pharma Healthcare Awards. He is a member of the steering committee of the Primary Care and Community Neurology Society that helps spearhead the development of community neurology services.
